This means that when the director cuts between cameras, the tally information is transmitted via the SDI program return feed, illuminating the tally light on the camera when it’s on air. For those using SDI-based switchers, such as the ATEM Constellation, the 4K Pro G2 provides dual 12G-SDI connections: one for camera output video and another for program return. The program return also supports tally, talkback, and remote camera control.

Alternatively, you can utilize the 10G Ethernet connection, which consolidates camera video, program return, tally, talkback, camera control, and even power into a single Cat 6a Ethernet cable, simplifying and enhancing your setup efficiency.

USB Expansion Port for Accessories
