The Forza 60 II Daylight LED Monolight from Nanlite combines the high-quality light and compact design of the original Forza 60 and 60B models, enhancing both performance and versatility. It features a daylight-balanced color temperature of 5600K and includes a 45° mini reflector, a locking DMX port, and built-in Bluetooth for wireless control via an app. The quieter integrated fan ensures smooth operation, and it comes with a battery handgrip for NP-F batteries, as well as an AC adapter with a V-mount battery plate for flexible power options.
Output
With the included 45° mini reflector, the Forza 60 II delivers up to 17,620 lux at 3.3′ (5600K). When used with the separately available FL-11 Fresnel, the light’s output increases to an impressive 41,580 lux.
Design
Designed for video recordings and photo productions, the Forza 60B II features a 110 to 240 VAC power supply for worldwide use. It can also operate on optional NP-F or V-mount batteries for added flexibility in locations without AC power. The light comes with a yoke and a 5/8″ receiver, compatible with industry-standard light stands, as well as a Bowens adapter for use with various light modifiers. A padded carry bag is included for convenient storage and transportation.
Color & Special Effects
The Forza 60 II boasts a CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 98, ensuring precise color reproduction for your shoots. In addition to its color accuracy, the light includes 11 built-in customizable effects that can be saved as presets using the free NANLINK app.
Extended Battery Options
The Forza 60 II offers enhanced battery power options for longer, efficient runtimes, enabling operation in any location without relying on AC power. It can run for up to 90 minutes at 100% brightness using two separately available NP-F970 batteries with the included battery handgrip. Alternatively, it can achieve up to 120 minutes at 100% brightness with one separately available 14.8V 160WH V-mount battery using an optional D-tap cable (note that a V-mount handgrip is sold separately).
DMX & App Control
The Forza 60B II features a 1.3″ OLED display, a mode button, and two knobs for easy local control. It also allows for remote operation via Bluetooth using the free NANLINK app for iOS and Android. For DMX/RDM control, a locking metal port is included, compatible with the separately available CB-DMX-3.5C-1/2 adapter cable. Additionally, built-in 2.4 GHz connectivity supports the use of the WS-RC-C2 handheld remote control or the WS-TB-1 transmitter box for larger setups.
Mounting
The Forza 60B II features a rotating yoke and an included Bowens adapter, allowing for umbrella mounts and expanding your light-shaping options. This adapter makes the light compatible with a wide range of modifiers. Additionally, the Forza 60B II’s FM Mount accommodates numerous Nanlite modifiers, including softboxes and the separately available PJ-FMM Projection Attachment, providing enhanced control over shaping and selecting the light’s output.
