Apple Watch Series 12 Overview
Advanced Health Tracking
Apple Watch Series 12 provides detailed health insights to help you better understand your body. It can measure heart rate variability (HRV) as often as every five minutes and take background heart rate readings every five seconds. The Vitals app tracks overnight health metrics, while additional features include a daily sleep score, menstrual cycle tracking, and blood oxygen readings.
Daily Readiness and Fitness
The readiness experience analyzes recent activity, vitals, and sleep to help you understand your capacity for the day. Series 12 also provides advanced fitness features for running, hiking, strength training, and other workouts, including Pacer, Heart Rate Zones, and Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence from a nearby iPhone.
Safety and Emergency Features
Series 12 can detect a hard fall or severe car crash and automatically help connect you with emergency services. It can also notify your emergency contacts, providing added peace of mind during workouts, travel, and everyday activities.
All-Day Battery Life
Apple Watch Series 12 provides up to 24 hours of normal use. When you need a quick boost, 15 minutes of fast charging provides up to 12 hours of normal use, helping you spend more time wearing the watch and less time charging it.
Siri AI and Audio Intelligence
With Siri AI, you can use your voice to engage in natural conversations, brainstorm ideas, and more. Audio Intelligence features such as Live Rewind and Siri Recap can help catch missed information and summarize conversations. Siri AI is rolling out in English, while some Audio Intelligence features are planned for beta in late 2026. Usage limits may apply.
Durable Design and Cellular Connectivity
Apple Watch Series 12 aluminum models feature Ceramic Shield 2, while titanium and ceramic models use a crack-resistant sapphire crystal display. With cellular connectivity, you can make and receive calls, stream music and podcasts, and listen with AirPods directly from the watch, even when your iPhone isn’t with you.
