Deity PR-4 Portable Field Recorder
Compact Multitrack Recording
The Deity PR-4 Portable Field Recorder packs professional multitrack audio capabilities into a compact design that’s easy to mount on a camera or carry in a production bag. With four inputs and six-track recording, it’s well suited for interviews, documentaries, weddings, and other productions where multiple microphones need to be recorded without a dedicated sound mixer.
Flexible Four-Input Recording
The PR-4 features two XLR inputs along with a stereo 3.5mm TRS input for channels 3 and 4, making it possible to combine a boom microphone with multiple wireless lavaliers or other audio sources. Built-in Automix intelligently manages active microphones while isolated tracks are recorded for greater control during post-production.

32-Bit Float with Clean Gain
Dual-ADC microphone preamps provide up to +60 dB of clean gain, while 32-bit-float recording helps preserve usable audio across a wide range of recording levels. This makes the PR-4 well suited for situations where sound levels can change unexpectedly, reducing the need for precise gain staging and helping prevent distorted recordings.
Built-In Recording Redundancy
For added protection, the PR-4 can record simultaneously to an SD card supporting capacities up to 1TB and its built-in 64GB SSD. Dual-media recording provides an automatic backup of your audio, adding an extra layer of security during important productions.

Timecode & Remote Control
Wired and wireless timecode synchronization keeps the PR-4 aligned with cameras, slates, and other production equipment for easier post-production. Using the Sidus Audio app, you can remotely monitor and adjust recorder settings from a smartphone or tablet, making it easier to manage the recorder when it’s mounted out of reach.
Professional Features in a Compact Design
A color touchscreen provides quick access to settings and clear audio metering, while AES3/AES42 digital audio support allows integration with professional equipment. A flexible routing matrix provides control over signals sent to cameras, headphones, and custom mixes, while NP-F battery compatibility supports extended recording sessions
