Included in the kit is a custom-fit camera cage with multiple mounting threads, cold shoe mounts, and a NATO rail to create a rig best suited to your needs. An HDMI cable clamp can be attached to the side of the cage to reduce strain on your camera’s output connection to your secondary monitor. The top handle offers an alternative grip with additional mounting points.

Custom-fit to select Sony a7 and a1 models, this Full Camera Cage from SmallRig protects your camera while providing a myriad of mounting points for customizable gear configurations. The design of the cage maintains access to the camera’s buttons and ports thanks to a hinged arm for battery replacement, among other custom details. Two locking side plates with M2.5 screws are interchangeable, depending on the camera model you are using, for extra security.

Multiple 1/4″-20 threads and ARRI anti-twist 3/8″-16 threads throughout the cage offer mounting points for articulating arms. Two cold shoe mounts and a NATO rail can accommodate wireless transmitters, fill lights, or side handles. The bottom of the cage features an Arca-type quick release plate for easy integration onto a tripod or stabilizer. The cage’s overall aluminum alloy and stainless steel construction creates a durable and lightweight design, and rubber pads on the interior protect the camera from scratches.

Protect and secure the HDMI cable on your Sony a7S III camera with this HDMI Cable Clamp from SmallRig. The durable aluminum clamp is compatible with the SmallRig 2999 cage for the Sony a7S III camera.

The clamp is designed to prevent the HDMI cable from pulling or accidentally disconnecting. It mounts onto the side of the cage using one 1/4″-20 screw, which is secured with two anti-twist pins to prevent twisting. The cables are secured with an easy-grasp, knurled 1/4″-20 screw. The screw adjusts a sliding block that can be tightened to accommodate different cable diameters. An Allen wrench is included to secure the mounting screw.

The handle uses a locking 3/8″-16 thumbscrew with locating pins to attach securely to your camera cage.In addition to one 15mm rod bracket, this versatile handle sports one locking and two standard cold shoe mounts, as well as multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads. The handle is constructed with durable aluminum and stainless steel components.
