DJI Avata 360 with RC 2
Blending FPV performance with immersive capture capabilities, the DJI Avata 360 with RC 2 introduces a flexible dual-camera system designed for dynamic aerial content creation. With the ability to switch between a traditional 4K60 single-lens view and a full 360° 8K60 HDR capture mode, this drone allows users to record everything in a single flight and reframe shots afterward. This approach enables multiple perspectives, creative edits, and cinematic results without the need for repeated flights, making it an efficient solution for both beginners and experienced pilots.
Dual-Mode Camera System
The Avata 360 features a hybrid imaging system that supports both standard FPV shooting and immersive 360° capture. The single-lens mode delivers sharp 4K60 video for fast-paced footage, while the 360° mode records in 8K60 HDR, capturing the entire environment for flexible reframing in post. With large 2.4 μm pixels and 1″-equivalent sensors, footage maintains strong detail, dynamic range, and natural light rendering. Users can also capture 120MP 16K 360° still images and extract multiple compositions from a single shot.

Reframing and Creative Tools
360° capture allows complete control over framing after recording. Users can adjust angles, rotate perspectives, and apply creative effects such as dolly zoom or “Asteroid” views. This enables the creation of multiple shots and viewpoints from a single flight, expanding creative possibilities without additional airtime.
Subject Tracking
Advanced tracking features include ActiveTrack 360 and Spotlight modes, designed to keep subjects centered during complex movements. ActiveTrack 360 automatically adapts tracking behavior based on subject motion, while Spotlight locks onto a subject and maintains framing as the drone executes predefined or manual flight paths.

Stabilization
To ensure smooth footage during high-speed flight, the Avata 360 incorporates RockSteady and HorizonSteady stabilization technologies. RockSteady compensates for motion and environmental factors, while HorizonSteady maintains a level horizon during rotation, particularly in 360° capture mode.
FPV Gimbal Mode
FPV Gimbal Mode introduces a dynamic roll effect to footage, enhancing the sense of speed and immersion. This effect can be applied during flight or added in post-production for greater creative control.
Safety and Navigation
The drone features upgraded omnidirectional obstacle sensing, providing awareness in all directions for safer flight. Vision Assist offers a real-time 1080p view from multiple sensors, while forward-facing LiDAR improves navigation in low-light environments. Integrated propeller guards further enhance safety during flight.

Transmission and Controller
The O4+ transmission system delivers a stable 1080p60 live feed from up to 12.4 miles away, with strong anti-interference performance. The included RC 2 controller features a built-in 5.5″ 1080p touchscreen display, allowing for direct monitoring without the need for an external device.
Software and Editing
Compatible with DJI Fly and DJI Studio, the Avata 360 supports intuitive editing and reframing tools. Features such as GyroFrame and one-tap reframing simplify post-production workflows, while compatibility with external software like Adobe Premiere expands editing capabilities.
