Designed for Large-Format Coverage
The Arles 180mm covers a 50mm image circle, making it fully compatible with large-format and VistaVision sensors. When used at its widest aperture, the lens creates a soft, painterly image with a distinct, swirling bokeh toward the frame edges—perfect for artistic, expressive visuals that stand out in a cinematic workflow.
Enhanced Optical Stability
To maintain consistent composition, floating internal elements reduce focus breathing during focus pulls. The lens also features aspherical components and low-dispersion glass to improve sharpness and reduce chromatic aberrations.
