High-Output Full-Color Lighting for Professional Productions
Designed for creators, filmmakers, photographers, and production teams who require powerful output and complete color control, the amaran Ray 660c RGB LED Monolight combines an impressive 660W COB LED engine with advanced OmniColor technology in a streamlined all-in-one fixture. Capable of illuminating large studios, commercial productions, interview sets, and creative environments, the Ray 660c delivers exceptional brightness, extensive color customization, and professional-level control options.
Its integrated power supply, Bowens mount compatibility, and durable IP54-rated construction make it equally suited for studio installations and demanding on-location productions.
Powerful Output with Extensive Color Control
The Ray 660c delivers up to 38,500 lux at 3.3′ when used as a bare fixture and an impressive 91,600 lux at the same distance when paired with the included reflector. This substantial output allows the light to function as a powerful key light, fill light, or large-area illumination source for productions requiring significant lighting coverage.
Powered by amaran’s OmniColor engine, the fixture offers an adjustable color temperature range from 2300 to 10,000K, which can be expanded to an even broader 1800 to 20,000K range in CCT+ mode. Full RGB and HSI color control provide access to millions of color combinations, allowing users to create anything from natural daylight and tungsten-balanced scenes to vibrant cinematic lighting effects.
Color accuracy is equally impressive, with CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87, and TM-30 94/100 ratings that ensure accurate skin tones, clean whites, and reliable color consistency for both photo and video applications. The fixture also supports green-magenta adjustment for precise color matching with other lighting sources on set.

Intuitive Operation and Professional Connectivity
For creators looking to add dynamic visual elements to their productions, the Ray 660c includes 12 built-in lighting effects such as Lightning, Fireworks, Fire, TV, Paparazzi, Welding, Explosion, Party, Cop Car, Strobe, Faulty Bulb, and Pulsing. These effects can be customized to quickly simulate real-world lighting scenarios without the need for additional equipment.
Operation is designed to be both intuitive and efficient. A bright TFT display and amaran’s FlowTurn control knob provide tactile, responsive adjustment of brightness, color, and effects directly on the fixture. Quick Operation mode enables rapid access to commonly used settings, while customizable shortcuts further streamline workflow during fast-paced productions.
Built-in NFC allows one-tap pairing with the amaran mobile app, enabling wireless Bluetooth control from up to 262.5′ away. Through the app, users can remotely adjust settings, organize multiple fixtures, and manage complex lighting setups directly from a mobile device.
Professional Connectivity and Studio Integration
The Ray 660c is designed to grow alongside professional workflows. For advanced lighting control, the fixture supports optional DMX connectivity through a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX adapter. This allows seamless integration into industry-standard lighting consoles and software for synchronized multi-light productions, programmed lighting cues, and repeatable studio setups.
Dedicated Studio and High-Speed Photography modes further enhance versatility, making the Ray 660c suitable for everything from commercial video production and livestreaming to still photography and high-speed capture applications.

Durable All-in-One Design
Unlike many high-output fixtures that rely on external ballast systems, the Ray 660c features a built-in power supply integrated directly into the light head. This all-in-one design eliminates bulky power bricks and reduces setup complexity, allowing users to power the fixture using the included 16.4′ AC cable while maintaining a cleaner and more efficient workspace.
Built for real-world production environments, the fixture features an IP54-rated design that resists dust and water splashes, providing reliable operation both indoors and outdoors. Active cooling keeps temperatures under control while maintaining low operating noise levels suitable for video production environments, with selectable fan modes available to balance cooling performance and noise reduction.
Bowens Mount Flexibility
The Ray 660c utilizes a full-size metal Bowens mount, ensuring compatibility with a vast range of industry-standard light modifiers. The included reflector maximizes output, while optional accessories such as Fresnel lenses, softboxes, lanterns, and other Bowens-compatible modifiers allow creators to shape and control light for virtually any shooting scenario.
A durable yoke provides smooth positioning and precise angle adjustments, while dual junior and baby pin mounting options simplify integration with professional grip equipment. A built-in safety chain bracket adds an extra layer of security when mounting the fixture overhead or in permanent studio installations.
