Despite its lightweight design, the Ray 120c delivers impressive brightness with up to 6850 lux at 3.3′ (3200K). For increased output and beam control, the fixture can be paired with optional Mini Reflector and Mini Fresnel accessories.
The OmniColor engine produces rich, accurate color reproduction with CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87, and TM-30 ratings of 94/100, ensuring natural skin tones, clean whites, and consistent color accuracy for both photo and video production. With 8719 lumens of output and green-magenta adjustment capability, creators have greater control when matching ambient or mixed lighting environments.
Full RGB Color and Extended CCT Range
The Ray 120c offers extensive creative flexibility with 360° full-color control and an adjustable color temperature range of 2300K to 10,000K. CCT+ mode expands that range even further from 1800K to 20,000K, making it easy to replicate everything from warm candlelight to cool daylight and stylized color effects.
Stepless dimming from 0 to 100% allows for precise output adjustments, while built-in lighting effects provide quick access to creative looks including Lightning, Fireworks, Fire, TV, Paparazzi, Welding, Strobe, Cop Car, Party, and more.
Intelligent Control and Workflow Integration
Designed for fast-paced productions, the Ray 120c features a bright TFT display and intuitive onboard controls centered around amaran’s FlowTurn control knob. Quick Operation mode, customizable shortcuts, and dedicated High-Speed Photography and Studio modes streamline setup and adjustments on set.
Built-in NFC allows instant pairing with the amaran mobile app, enabling wireless Bluetooth control from up to 262.5′ away. Through the app, users can remotely adjust brightness, color settings, effects, and lighting groups for efficient multi-light management.
Flexible Power Anywhere
The Ray 120c supports multiple power options to accommodate a variety of shooting environments. Use the included AC adapter for studio operation, power the fixture through USB-C PD 3.0, or pair it with optional Ace E-Lock batteries for completely cable-free setups.
When paired with optional portable battery solutions, the light can operate for up to 35 minutes at full power or up to 46 minutes at reduced output, providing flexibility for remote locations and mobile productions where AC power may not be available.

A full-size metal Bowens mount allows compatibility with a wide range of industry-standard light shaping tools, including softboxes, reflectors, Fresnels, and other popular modifiers. The fixture also features a 1/4″-20 mounting point for attachment to stands, arms, and other support equipment.
Included accessories enhance versatility right out of the box, including the Octa Dome 30 softbox and Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip.
