The Halo 100x produces up to 4,890 lux at 3.3′ while utilizing a wide 85° beam angle for smooth, even illumination with reduced hotspots. Its adjustable color temperature range allows creators to seamlessly match tungsten, daylight, or mixed lighting environments, while stepless dimming from 0 to 100% provides precise exposure control for video production, photography, livestreaming, and content creation.
High color accuracy ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 97, SSI 84/74, and TM-30 94/102 ensure faithful color reproduction, natural-looking skin tones, and consistent lighting results both on camera and in person.
Compact Design for Small Studios

For wireless operation, built-in Bluetooth and NFC technology allow instant pairing with the amaran app, enabling remote control from distances up to 262′.
Users can adjust brightness, color temperature, lighting effects, and group multiple fixtures directly from their smartphone for streamlined workflow management.
Professional Control Options
For more advanced lighting setups, the Halo 100x supports optional DMX control through a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX adapter. This allows integration with professional lighting consoles and software for synchronized multi-light configurations, scene programming, and repeatable production workflows.

Expand creative possibilities with nine built-in lighting effects, including Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulsing, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire. These effects provide fast access to realistic lighting scenarios without requiring additional accessories or post-production work.

Unlike previous generations, the Halo 100x offers multiple power options for both studio and mobile workflows. The fixture can be powered using the included AC-to-DC adapter, USB-C PD power sources, or optional amaran Peak portable battery systems.
When paired with optional portable batteries, the Halo 100x can operate for up to 40 minutes at full power using the amaran Peak battery, or up to 52 minutes with the Peak 75 battery system when operating at reduced output levels.
Quiet Cooling System
The Halo 100x features an efficient active cooling system designed to maintain reliable performance during extended shooting sessions. Multiple fan modes, including Silent, Smart, and High settings, allow users to balance cooling performance with noise levels. Operating at approximately 28 dBA in Smart Mode, the fixture remains suitable for sound-sensitive video productions, interviews, and livestream applications.
Broad Modifier Compatibility
A reinforced full-size Bowens mount provides compatibility with a wide range of industry-standard light modifiers, including reflectors, Fresnels, softboxes, umbrellas, and specialty shaping tools. Included accessories feature a 1/4″-20 to baby pin adapter with an integrated tilting bracket and umbrella holder, making it easy to mount the fixture to standard light stands and support systems.
