Featuring a powerful 63W COB LED engine, the Halo 60x produces up to 3270 lux at 3.3′ while maintaining a slim profile that fits easily into tight shooting spaces and portable production kits. Offering a versatile 2700 to 6500K color temperature range, this fixture provides flattering warm and daylight-balanced illumination for interviews, streaming, product photography, and video production.
Built around an all-in-one design, the Halo 60x combines advanced lighting performance with simplified operation. Its integrated TFT display, dedicated brightness and color temperature controls, and NFC-enabled wireless pairing make setup quick and intuitive whether you’re working in a home studio or on location.
Consistent Bi-Color Performance
The Halo 60x delivers smooth, natural-looking illumination with a broad 85° beam angle that provides even coverage and minimizes hotspots. Adjustable from 2700K tungsten to 6500K daylight, the fixture allows creators to easily match existing ambient light or create a desired mood for their scene. Stepless dimming from 0 to 100% provides precise output control for everything from subtle fill lighting to key light applications.
Exceptional color fidelity ensures accurate color reproduction and realistic skin tones, making the light suitable for both photography and professional video production.
Intelligent Control Options
Control the Halo 60x directly from the fixture using its intuitive interface or wirelessly through the amaran mobile app. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity and NFC pairing allow users to connect instantly and manage multiple Halo-series fixtures from a distance of up to 262′. For more advanced production environments, the light also supports optional wired DMX control through a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX adapter.
Flexible Power Solutions
Unlike previous generations, the Halo 60x supports multiple power options to accommodate a variety of shooting scenarios. Power the fixture using the included AC adapter for studio use, USB-C PD power sources for mobile setups, or optional amaran Peak-series batteries for completely cable-free operation. With an optional Ace E-Lock adapter and portable battery system, creators can achieve up to 60 minutes of runtime at full output, making the light an excellent choice for remote productions and travel work.
A highly efficient active cooling system keeps the Halo 60x operating reliably while remaining quiet enough for sound-sensitive recording environments. Multiple fan modes, including Silent, Smart, and High settings, allow users to balance cooling performance with noise requirements.
For additional creative flexibility, the fixture includes nine built-in lighting effects:

Broad Modifier Compatibility
Despite its compact dimensions, the Halo 60x features a reinforced full-size Bowens mount, providing compatibility with a wide range of lighting modifiers including softboxes, reflectors, Fresnels, lanterns, and umbrellas. Included with the fixture is a 1/4″-20 to baby pin adapter with an integrated tilting bracket and umbrella holder, allowing for easy mounting on standard light stands and grip equipment.
